BenRiach – The Twenty Five Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

BenRiach The Twenty Five is a Speyside single malt matured for at least twenty-five years. It is made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit. Four types of cask contribute to it: sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks and Madeira wine casks. The whisky from each is married together, and over the long maturation the Speyside smoke softens and blends with the fruit, malt and oak, becoming a caramelised smoke. The palate is layered with baked fruit, honey malt and toasted oak spice, followed by a long, rich finish of caramelised smoke.
