The Twenty One is a 21 year old Speyside single malt from Benriach, part of the distillery's new range. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is four cask matured, drawing on bourbon casks, sherry casks, virgin oak and red wine casks.
The nose combines warm smoke with peaches, apples, honey and cinnamon. The palate is complex, with a smoky touch and plenty of fruit: peach, apple, pear, vanilla and honey. The finish is long, smoky and dry, with hints of nuts and cocoa.
