This is a 10 year old single malt from Benrinnes Distillery, near Aberlour in Speyside, bottled by North Star Spirits as Cask Series 028. It was distilled in October 2015 as unpeated spirit and filled into a single Oloroso sherry butt, where it matured for 10 years. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or artificial colouring. The maturation is credited with notes of glacé oranges and crystallised berries.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
