This Benrinnes is an 11-year-old Speyside single malt from Douglas Laing's Old Particular Wine Cask Collection. It was distilled in 2014, bottled in 2026 at 48.4% ABV, and finished in an orange wine cask.
The nose offers honeyed malt and vanilla woven with blood orange and soft marzipan. On the palate there are juicy apricots, ripe nectarines and spicy orange marmalade, with clove and cinnamon underneath.
The finish is long, bringing together citrus peel, creamy milk chocolate, dried red fruit and brown sugar.
