Benrinnes – 11 Year Old Cask Strength Mossburn No 11 (55.8%)

Benrinnes 11 Year Old is a cask strength single malt bottled at 55.8% by the independent bottler Mossburn, released as No 11 in its Vintage Casks series. It comes from a single cask. The whisky was distilled in 2007 and bottled on 23 August 2018. The nose combines caramel and sweet malt with grilled pineapple, lemon zest and salted peanuts. The palate brings juicy orchard fruit, raw cinnamon, buttered cabbage with pepper, and warm oak. The finish is floral malt with melted brown sugar, and the spice keeps the warmth going to the end.
