Benrinnes – 12 Year Old 2009/2021 Fable Whisky Chapter Four Bay (58.9%)

This is a 12 year old Benrinnes, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 at 58.9% ABV. It was matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads, and 272 bottles were filled. It is Chapter Four, Bay, of the first Fable Whisky release, which draws on the legend of the Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay, a tale set on the south-west coast of Scotland near Stranraer. Fable worked with the artist Hugo Cuellar, whose label illustrations of characters and scenes make up a series of eleven chapters.
