This is a Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, distilled in 2011 and matured for 12 years in a bourbon hogshead. It was hand-selected and bottled for Cadenhead's Edinburgh Shop, and the release yielded 300 bottles.
It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour. Benrinnes has a naturally meaty, full-bodied spirit, and the bourbon hogshead is described as adding vanilla cream, honeyed malt, orchard fruits and gentle oak spice.
