This is a single cask Benrinnes, a Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 at 13 years old. Brave New Spirits released it in their Cask Noir range under the subtitle Ruthrie The Wanderer In Bordeaux.
The whisky ended its maturation in a first fill red wine barrique from Saint-Emilion. Cask 301375 gave 254 bottles, each at the natural cask strength of 57.2%, in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
