This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, bottled by James Eadie for its Single Cask series as a release for the United Kingdom.
It was distilled in 2007, double matured in a single first fill Malmsey Madeira hogshead and bottled in 2022, giving 294 numbered bottles. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour.
The Madeira cask is described as adding honeyed sweetness, dried fruits, tropical richness and warming spice to a robust, meaty spirit.
