Benrinnes – 15 Year Old Flora & Fauna (43%)

Benrinnes 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery at the foot of Ben Rinnes, near Aberlour, which was founded in 1826. It is matured for fifteen years in oak casks and bottled at 43% as part of the Flora & Fauna series, which puts lesser-known distilleries in focus. The nose is sweet, with dark berries. The palate is spicy and lightly smoky, with orange, oak, chocolate and coffee. The finish is long and dry, with oak.
