Benrinnes – 15 Years Flora & Fauna (70cl, 43%)

Benrinnes 15 Years is a Speyside single malt from the Flora & Fauna series, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. In this series the owner, Diageo, bottles selected casks from a small number of distilleries, each as a single malt. The first Benrinnes single malt was bottled in 1991 as part of it. The distillery is thought to have been founded in the 1820s and was extensively modernised in the 1950s. It has a long connection with the Crawford blends, and it is one of the few distilleries that triple-distil in part. This is the distillery's only original bottling with a clear focus on sherry casks.
