Benrinnes – 19 Year Old (1997/2017), Berry Bros & Rudd Single Cask (70cl, 46%)

Benrinnes 19 Year Old is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 by Berry Bros. & Rudd. It is bottled at a natural 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration. Benrinnes is made by partial triple distillation, in which some of the spirit is distilled three times. This whisky matured for 19 years in a single cask. The nose is fruity and nutty, with quince and apple. On the palate are plenty of apple and peach with a hint of peat, and the finish is long and complex, with lasting fruitiness and subtle smoky notes.
