This Benrinnes is an independent bottling from Signatory Vintage, part of its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled on 28 October 1996 and matured for 24 years in two hogsheads before bottling on 12 March 2021 at 51.9%.
The outturn was 538 bottles of 70cl.
The nose is fruity, with exotic fruit such as pineapple and mango, alongside vanilla, caramel and marzipan. The palate is oily in texture, sweet and fruity again, with honey, vanilla, spice and wood. The finish is medium in length and balanced.
