Benrinnes – 2003 19 Years Old (The Old Malt Cask 25th Anniversary) (70cl, 50%)

This is a 19 year old Benrinnes from Speyside, a single cask bottling by Hunter Laing in The Old Malt Cask series, released for the series' 25th anniversary. It was distilled in December 2003, matured in a Canasta Cream Sherry butt and released in October 2023 at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is uncoloured, and 536 bottles were filled. The nose is of berry fruits, flowers and milk chocolate. On the palate come berries, soft smoke and toffee, and the long finish carries lasting spiced fruit.
