A 15 year old single malt from Benrinnes in Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 by James Eadie for their Single Cask range. It is bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
After its main maturation, the whisky spent 17 months in a first fill American oak hogshead that had previously held Malmsey Madeira, a rich dessert wine from the Portuguese island of the same name. Rich, sweet, nutty and fruity flavours are to be expected.
