This Benrinnes was distilled on 11 April 2008 and bottled at 12 years old on 10 September 2020 for the Single Cask Collection Austria. It matured in a bourbon hogshead and was finished in a rum cask. A total of 253 bottles were filled.
The nose is very fruity, with banana, apple and muesli, and the rum shows only faintly after some time. The palate is full and aromatic, with ripe apples, pears and soft vanilla. The finish is sweet, mild and round, with white chocolate and fruit sugar lingering.
