A 12-year-old Benrinnes from Speyside, bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland series. It was distilled on 10 September 2008, matured in a hogshead and bottled on 29 July 2021 at 56.2% ABV. The outturn was 282 bottles.
The nose is honey, light toffee, stewed fruit and a soft, malty warmth. The palate is creamy and full, with vanilla, nectarines, malt, soft spices and light oak. The finish is long, clean and fruity, with a hint of pepper and crème brûlée.
