A Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021 at ten years old and 59.3% ABV for Anam na h-Alba. It was matured in bourbon casks, is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and 231 bottles were filled.
The whisky has a deep golden colour. Its nose is fruity, with a basket of apples, some pear, herb honey and vanilla. The palate is creamy and soft, with a brief peppery spice before honey, fruit dessert in vanilla sauce, fudge and apple pie. The finish turns spicier, with a light nuttiness, a hint of chocolate and orange.
