This Benrinnes was distilled on 23 November 2010 and spent 11 years in oak, the final stage in a first-fill sherry hogshead. The Red Cask Co. bottled it in 2021 at a cask strength of 55.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a single cask release of 293 bottles, natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose offers leather, caramel, stewed plums and Christmas pudding. The palate begins with light oak, then rich plums, cherries, lightly sweet coffee and a little chocolate. The finish is long, smooth and warm, with sweet coffee and chocolate still present.
