After maturation it was finished for about 3 years and 8 months in a Barolo wine barrique, cask 7110. It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.4%, without chill filtration or added colour, and only 282 bottles were filled, each of 70cl. The colour is yellow gold. The nose brings toasted oak with gooseberry, kiwi and nectarine. On the palate come ginger snaps, apricots and salted caramel, with a touch of sweet, peppery spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
