This Benrinnes is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Signatory Vintage's The Monuments of Scotland series, bottled at 50.8% ABV. It was distilled on 22 April 2015 and comes from four casks, numbers 1, 2, 3 and 6.
After maturation it was finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, and it is bottled non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The label shows Tomnaverie Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire.
The nose offers raisins, dates, figs and orange peel with caramel, dark honey and spiced cake. Dried fruit, cream caramel and dark chocolate lead the palate, and the finish is long, with cocoa, nuts and spiced oak.
