A 10 year old Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, distilled in October 2015 and bottled in June 2026 by North Star Spirits. It is Series 28, released for the independent bottler's 10th anniversary.
The whisky matured in a refill Oloroso sherry butt and was bottled at 59.5% without chill filtration or added colour. Only 737 bottles were filled, each of 70cl. Benrinnes is one of the few Scottish malt distilleries still using traditional worm tub condensers.
North Star describes a meaty nose with toffee apples, glacé oranges and crystallised berries on the palate, and fruitcake in the finish.
