Benrinnes – 2015 7 Year Old Claxton's Warehouse No. 8

This is a 7 year old Benrinnes from Claxton's Warehouse No. 8 series. It was distilled on 6 August 2015, matured in a refill oloroso sherry octave and bottled in the winter of 2022. Only 58 bottles were filled. The nose offers apple cider, pine, cloves and winter spices. On the palate there is sweet oak with generous barley and a touch of sweets. The finish has more barley sweetness, with sharp, spicy oak lingering at the end.
