This is a Benrinnes single malt from Speyside, aged for 9 years and bottled by Claxton's at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It forms part of the sixth release in the Exploration Series. The whisky matured in a Tawny Port barrique before bottling. The Port wine cask has given it a pleasant colour and also a touch of sweetness.
