This is a 23 year old Benrinnes single malt from the Hidden Spirits range, bottled at 52.8% ABV.
It was distilled on 15 August 1997 and matured until December 2020 in a second-fill bourbon cask. It then spent a further month in an Oloroso sherry cask.
Its character moves between a malty, grassy freshness and ripe, honeyed fruit.
