Benrinnes Madeira Finish is a Speyside single malt hand-selected by Murray McDavid. It is bottled at 44.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was first aged in bourbon casks and then finished in casks that previously held Madeira wine.
The nose is fruity and intense, with dried figs, raisins, orange peel and spiced oak. The palate is rich and balanced, with ripe stone fruits, dark chocolate, honey and a slightly spicy edge. The finish is long and warm, with sweet vinous notes, dried fruit and a smooth close.
