This is a 21 year old single malt from Benrinnes, part of the 2024 Special Releases, bottled at 55.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It spent its first 8 years in refill casks. A second maturation of 13 years followed in American and European oak wine casks and rejuvenated casks.
The flavour is lightly sweet and caramelly, with baked apples, blackberries, melon and molasses, along with plenty of oak spice.
