Benromach 10 Year Old is an amber Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It matures in bourbon casks and sherry hogsheads, with its final year in first-fill Oloroso casks.
The nose combines rich sherry, fine spice and green apples, moving to malty biscuit and a little light peat smoke, with nut chocolate sweetness. The palate offers juicy raspberries, blackberries and sherry. A drop of water brings out pineapple and kiwi on the nose, and nutty flavours with charred oak on the palate.
