Benromach 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled by the distillery at 43% in a 70cl bottle. This version was relaunched in 2020.
The whisky spends nine years in a combination of 80% ex-Bourbon and 20% ex-Sherry casks, then a further year in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The colour is golden amber.
On the nose there is green apple, pear and dark honey, with soft vanilla and gentle smoke. The palate brings malted cereal, stewed fruit, warm toffee and a hint of black cherry, and the finish stays malty with soft smoke.
