This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Benromach, distilled in 2010 and released in 2022 as part of the Contrasts series. It is the first Benromach made with Cara Gold malted barley. The malt is lightly peated, to 6ppm, and the whisky matured entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. Just 6,300 bottles were made, and the release is described as having a bright, fruity edge alongside the distillery's subtly smoky character.
