Benromach 15 Year Old is a lightly peated Speyside single malt from Forres, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle at natural colour.
It was matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, which is how Benromach matures all of its whisky.
The nose opens with sweet toffee, cracked black pepper and peat smoke, followed by forest fruits, dark chocolate and dried banana. The palate is creamy and sweet, with ripe apples, charred oak, toasted malt and orange peel. The finish is medium, creamy, with soft smoke and dried fruit.
