This is a 15 year old Benromach single malt, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose shows balanced sherry character with vanilla pod, orange zest and spicy ginger, along with soft chamomile and menthol. The palate brings fruit cake with stewed plums, red apple skins and kiwi. With a little water, cocoa, nutmeg and cinnamon appear, followed by sweet honey and a hint of bonfire. The finish is long and full-bodied.
