This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Benromach.
The nose is rich with sherry, fruit and nut chocolate, delicate spice, green apples, malty biscuit and a touch of light peat smoke. With a little water it turns nutty, with charred oak, malt, pineapple and kiwi.
On the palate come juicy raspberries and brambles, sherry, creamy malt and light peat. The finish carries toasted malt, delicate peat smoke and lingering sweet sherry.
