Benromach – 15 Years Old (70cl, 43%)

Benromach 15 Years Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery at Forres, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Since 1998 a small team there has been reviving a lost style of Speyside malt, full-bodied with a hint of smoke. They use Highland peat, brewer's yeast alongside distillers yeast, very long fermentations and only first fill casks, which mature in traditional dunnage warehouses.
