Benromach – 40 Year Old Batch #2

Benromach 40 Year Old Batch #2 is a Speyside single malt matured for four decades in sherry casks and bottled in 2022. It is the second release in the series, following the first batch of 2021, and 1,098 bottles were produced. The first 40 year old was named World's Best Whisky 2022 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and this batch continues that line of long-aged Benromach. It is described as rich with dried fruits, dark chocolate, orange peel and roasted nuts, alongside polished oak, leather and warming spice.
