Classic Islay is a single malt from the Classic Range of Berry Bros. & Rudd. It was distilled on Islay from a naturally peated spirit and matured in oak casks, and the style is lightly smoky and richly fruity.
Soft peat smoke forms the base of the nose, alongside green orchard fruits, honeydew melon, malted barley and gentle earthy tones. The palate is weighty and slightly oily, and the smooth, lingering finish moves from smoke into fruity sweetness and dry earth.
