This is an 18-year-old single cask Speyside single malt from Berry Bros. & Rudd. It was distilled in 2007 at an unnamed distillery in Rothes and matured in a first-fill puncheon until it was bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 65.4%. The outturn is 607 bottles, each 70cl, bottled as a cloudy, non-chill-filtered whisky with no added colour.
The nose shows dark forest berries, raisins and clove, with ripe fruit cake, winter spice and fine wood. On the palate there are dried fruit, candied ginger and dark berries on a firm tannin structure, with spicy oak and restrained sweetness. The long finish brings blackberries, fine wood and a dry spice.
