Scallywag 18 Years Old is a Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing & Co, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and released as a limited edition. The brand takes its name from the Fox Terriers kept over the years by the Douglas Laing family. The whisky is a marriage of aged Speyside single malts, matured mainly in Spanish sherry casks, and it is bottled in small batches without added colour or chill-filtration. It is typically described as rich with dark fruits, chocolate and spice, with vanilla coming through late.
