This Pulteney was distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2015 at 15 years old, as part of the Best Casks of Scotland series from Jean Boyer. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
The nose is woody and vanilla-led, with yellow fruit, a little iodine, cinnamon over orange and a faint minty note. The palate is salty and sweet with yellow fruit, strong from the first sip, in a coastal style. The finish is long, with spice and bitter orange, ending malty.
