This is a Tomatin distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2025 at 18 years old by Best Dram. It was matured in a first-fill PX sherry butt that developed an unusual leak, and it is bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers dark raisins, ripe dates and liquorice, with a full, sweet sherry body. Caramel, dark chocolate and stewed plum come first on the palate, followed by cinnamon and clove. The finish is rich and warm, with a fine oak spice.
