Beverbach Adventures Edition I is a single malt from the Hardenberg Distillery in northwest Germany, in a 70cl bottle. What sets it apart is where it matured: the whisky spent its maturation at sea, aboard a freighter ship. The sea air and the constant motion of the voyage make for an unusual experiment, and whatever effect they had on the final result, it is described as an enjoyable dram for sailors and landlubbers alike.
