Catador Itinerante Slyrs 9 Year Old Pineau des Charentes Finished German Single Malt

This is a 9 year old German single malt from the Slyrs distillery, finished in Pineau des Charentes casks and bottled by Catador Itinerante. Catador Itinerante began in 2019 as a project by Pablo Goldbarg, who bottled world whiskies and wrote a blog about whisky in Spanish. He later added a live podcast, Nocturno en whisky. In 2023 he toured Europe looking for casks from distilleries with little presence in the U.S., and the project became an independent bottler of New World whisky.
