SLYRS Distillers Choice Pineau des Charentes Cask Finish is a single malt from the SLYRS distillery at Schliersee in Germany. It is the second edition in the Distillers Choice series, for which the distillers select individual casks.
The whisky was distilled in 2015. It spent three years in new American white oak, then a further five years in a cask that had held Pineau des Charentes. It was bottled at cask strength, 56.4%.
Distiller and brand ambassador Kilian Jonscher created it, joining the SLYRS house character with the aromas of Pineau des Charentes.
