Bib & Tucker Gold Roast is a 6 year old small batch Tennessee bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 92 proof. It belongs to the Classic Six range and is distilled in a combination of column and copper pot stills. The whiskey spends at least six years in Number 1 char American white oak barrels and is filtered through sugar maple charcoal. Arabica beans, lightly roasted by a Tennessee roaster, are then steeped in the cask strength six-year whiskey before the final blend is made. The nose is freshly brewed coffee and molasses. The palate offers pecan pie, caramel, dried apricot, rye spice and ginger, and the finish is long and chestnut-forward with grilled corn and smoky oak.
