Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye is a rye whiskey drawn from single barrels and bottled at 47% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It uses a grain recipe of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley, the distillery's first new recipe in 150 years.
The nose offers hazelnut, almond, spicy grain and a hint of corn. On the palate, light oak spices arrive first with corn sweetness, ripe apricot and orange. The finish is a lingering peppery warmth.
