Big Peat Budapest Edition is a blended malt Scotch, released in a strictly limited run of a few hundred bottles. It is bottled at 48% rather than the usual 46%, without chill-filtering and with no added colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The blend includes malt from Ardbeg, Bowmore and Caol Ila, together with Port Ellen, the distillery that has since closed. It is built from single malts and reflects the smoky, weather-beaten character of Islay.
