Black Bottle Andean Oak is a blended Scotch whisky of malt and grain whiskies, finished in casks made from Andean oak. It adds that South American influence to the smoky, spicy style of the Black Bottle brand.
It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has honey, caramel and ripe fruit, with delicate smoke, vanilla and sweet spice. The palate shows toffee, dried fruit and toasted oak, with a subtle smokiness. The finish is medium to long and warm, with spice, sweet wood and a touch of smoke.
