Black Bottle Blended Scotch Whisky (1L)

Black Bottle is a blended Scotch whisky in a one-litre bottle, made from malts from Islay, the Highlands and Speyside together with grain whiskies. Peated Islay malts predominate, and the whisky is matured twice in virgin oak casks, which bring out sweetness, vanilla and coconut alongside a distinctive smokiness. The recipe was created by Gordon Graham, a Victorian tea blender with a passion for malts. The nose is fresh and floral, with freshly sawn oak, spice and touches of smoke. The palate is silky and fruity, with peat smoke, then sweet oak and honey. The finish is smooth and spiced, with nutmeg, pepper and lingering gentle smoke.
