Black Bottle Captain's Cask Rum Cask Finish Blended Scotch (70cl, 46.3%)

Black Bottle Captain's Cask is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from a selection of malt and grain whiskies and finished in casks that previously held rum. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The rum finish sits alongside the smoky, spiced character of Black Bottle, and the whisky is inspired by the maritime trade routes between Scotland and the Caribbean. The nose has caramel, brown sugar and vanilla with ripe banana, tropical fruit and a soft background of smoke. The palate brings toffee, molasses, coconut and sweet spice. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, toasted oak and a trace of smoke.
