Black Bull 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch from Duncan Taylor, in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on mainland and island whiskies, with the balance of malt to grain leaning slightly towards malt.
The main components are Speyside and Highland malts matured in sherry and bourbon casks, with a few other whiskies added on top.
On the nose it shows citrus, red apples and tangerines with a touch of caramel. The palate is lively and zesty, with nutmeg and cloves, then vanilla and barley sugars. It finishes with warm pepper, soft nutty notes and toasted marshmallows.
